Sometimes, we struggle to express ourselves clearly, but we can at least share the thoughts and opinions of others — voices that are suppressed in digital echo chambers and obscured by dominant algorithms controlled by powerful gatekeepers. This time, I would like to share one of those truths with you here on my blog.
The video below is one of many eye-opening clips posted on Instagram by actor, filmmaker, and social justice activist Matthew Cooke.
“Boycott list – Action Steps on the front page of the platform. How To’s, Explainers, Deep talks on history, economics, politics, tools of civilization that have been twisted and used against us.
Let’s get to work,” Cooke wrote in his Instagram post describing the video content.

The algorithm has also brought to my attention something else worth sharing on this blog:
“You don’t get change by being mad online. You get change by applying pressure.
STEP 1: Call your Representative and Senators.
Tell them you oppose expanded ICE funding and demand investment in housing, schools, healthcare, and community safety instead of mass detention. They work for you. Make them log the call.
STEP 2: Sign up for the People’s Bill of Rights 250. https://peoplesbillofrights250.org/joinus (@peoplesbillofrights250)
This is a nationwide organizing effort leading up to America’s 250th anniversary. It’s about defining what freedom should actually look like in modern America: healthcare, bodily autonomy, voting rights, due process, education, and real accountability in government. Not symbolic liberty. Structural liberty.
The goal is simple: build public pressure state by state so elected officials cannot ignore what the people are demanding.
If we don’t define the future of this country, someone else will.”
